Hello!

I’m an illustrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up in the redwood forest of California’s Central Coast, before spending a decade in downtown Oakland - a shift from tall trees and bright banana slugs to bustling humanity and watchful herons. I now live in the north Bay Area with my little family and my big piles of books and paints.

When I’m not at my desk, I can often be found exploring the nearby wetlands, tinkering in the kitchen, or fielding questions from my preschooler about what snowflakes are, how train engines work, and whether elephants are mammals.

My work has appeared in Northern Woodlands Magazine, and at the Golden Hands Friends gallery in Seoul in an exhibition advocating for democracy in Myanmar.
